Lisbon Lemon Oil, 225 ml

Our California Lisbon Lemon extra virgin olive oil is made by crushing fresh, tree-ripened citrus fruit together with the olives at the time of pressing. This method captures the full essence of the citrus oil and color of the fruit, and imparts a richness of flavor to the oil which holds up even under light cooking. Citrus oils make wonderful vinaigrettes when paired with our White Balsamic Vinegar.

This oil works beautifully wherever fresh lemon is called for. Blend with sea salt, snipped parsley, garlic and Parmesan for a quick sauce for pasta, roasted chicken, vegetables, or fish. Try adding it to tuna fish, potato salad, or mix it with garlic and dried rosemary to marinate pork chops. Pairs well with Ferry Building Blend, goat cheese, roasted chicken, crab, couscous, leafy greens, and broccoli.

Please note that our Lisbon Lemon oil, like all of our oils, is not filtered, and so is sometimes cloudy, especially in the beginning of the year.  All oils will eventally settle out and become clear.  If your oil is cloudy there is nothing wrong with it, it is a natural, un-tinkered with product.  Filtering robs oils of texture and flavor, and we prefer a natural product.  Try it you'll like it!
