Meyer Lemon Oil, 225 ml

Our California Meyer Lemon extra virgin olive oil is made by crushing fresh, tree-ripened Meyer lemons together with the olives at the time of pressing. This method captures the full essence of the citrus oil and color of the fruit, and imparts a richness of flavor to the oil which holds up even under light cooking. This oil is refreshing, fragrant, and versatile, and makes a wonderful vinaigrette when paired with our White Balsamic Vinegar.

Whisk into mashed potatoes instead of butter, or add it to an olive oil cake for flavor and moisture. This oil is superb in Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Smoked Salt. In the summer, drizzle over a pasta with penne, zucchini, toasted pine nuts, and plenty of grated Parmesan. Also pairs well with shellfish, poultry, tender salad or sauteed greens, rosemary, dill, fennel, and basil.

Please note that our Meyer Lemon oil, like all of our oils, is not filtered, and so is sometimes cloudy, especially in the beginning of the year.  All oils will eventally settle out and become clear.  If your oil is cloudy there is nothing wrong with it, it is a natural, un-tinkered with product.  Filtering robs oils of texture and flavor, and we prefer a natural product.  Try it you'll like it!
