Many olive oil soaps on the market are made with poor quality olive oil, the lowest grade, lowest quality oil. At Stonehouse, we decided to turn the tide and use one of our best olive oils to make our soaps and body oils—the first oil of the harvest, rich with anti-oxidants, phenols, and 100% organic. The result is a wonderfully silky true olive oil soap that nourishes your skin as it cleanses, leaving it with such a soft finish you may be able to do without a moisturizer, even in winter! And the silkiness of the foam is ideal for shaving.

As this is a true soap, please use a slotted soap dish or tray, and never leave the soap sitting in water.

Why is it so expensive? Organic products made by hand in the good old USA are always a bit spendy; however, our soap is also considerably bigger than most soaps on the market: 5.5 oz instead of 3.5! So, if you are accustomed to paying $6 for a 3.5 oz bar of your favorite Italian or French soap, our 5.5 oz bar at $8 is actually almost 20% less expensive. And it's carbon footprint is much smaller.
