Ferry Building Blend

Aromatic with dill, shallot, lemon peel and celery salt, Ferry Building Blend gives fish, soups and cream sauces a subtle backdrop that's both savory and fresh. Made in small batches each month.

  • Drizzle Fish or chicken with Stonehouse House Blend and sprinke with Ferry Builidng Blend: wrap in parchment paper and bake.
  • Use to season the water of rice, couscous, or quinoa.
  • Add to potatoes or baby turnips, steamed and buttered, or make Ferry Building Mashed Potatoes.
  • Place whole, peeled carrots or parsnips in a medium saucepan with Ferry Building Blend, a pat of butter and enough water to cover, and simmer until tender.
  • Sprinkle over sliced cucumbers witha squeeze of lemon and a drizzle of olive oil for a simple partner to a lunchtime sandwich.
  • Finish a salad witha few teaspoons of FBB after dressing for a kick of flavor.

Pairs well with zucchini, fennel, and cucumbers; with Blood Orange Oil for lobster; and with Lisbon or Meyer Lemon Oil for fish. Excellent in our Ferry Building Mashed Potatoes!

Also contains French gray sea salt.
